Dr. Tina Stortzum
DVM
Dr. Tina grew up in a small town, on a small farm with dogs, cats, chickens, horses, and cows. As a kid, she enjoyed riding around with the local vets to farms. She worked in clinics in some capacity for 25 years. She attended the University of Illinois for undergrad and the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine, having graduated in 2003.
She has almost 20 years of experience in traditional clinics practicing general and emergency medicine. She enjoys making a connection with patients and owners.
With in-home veterinary care, her goals are to decrease stress; from car rides to waiting and exam rooms, noises, and germs. She also seeks to provide more personalized care options and develop a more personal bond by observing a pet in the actual environment and normal behavior.
Dr. Tina considers all of your family’s needs, including busy schedules, budgetary considerations, family circumstances, and environmental factors
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son as well as their 2 dogs. She also loves running and outdoor activities like hiking, fishing, and snow skiing. When she’s not outside, she can be found cuddled up with a book.
